My friend Sue at Fresh Designs Florist is pretty much a rockstar. She's been in the wedding business for a long time, she's blunt yet hilarious and is one of those people that makes things happen. Like you're sitting there talking about an idea and all of a sudden she's on the phone making plans, introducing you to this person and that person. It's kinda cool.
So when she told me to get a design together to accompany her table at the bridal open house at the Merion Tribute House, I jumped at the chance.
As the other vendors looked on curiously, we carried tree limb after limb inside the grand venue and set about constructing her chuppah. We set the table underneath, hung Moroccan lanterns, lit candles and placed flowers everywhere.
It was the first table that the couples saw when they walked in the door and honestly? It was pretty incredible.
I used free calligraphy printables from Snippet & Ink, which you can find here.
We got to speak to so many fun couples that night & I got to chat with tons of other awesome wedding vendors. And even though we called it a chuppah, it's perfect for any wedding ceremony + I'm excited because my October bride and groom are using it as their ceremony backdrop. Now I know what to do with all of those fallen trees in my yard now, chuppahs for everyone!
