Hey there ho there! How are you guys? I am fan-freaking-tastic. Really, I am. Aside from the plague that has seemed to settle over my house with head wounds and ear infections and snot and more snot (mostly from Gabe, a bit from me), I have been consumed with all sorts of good things.
Since making a more concerted effort to focus on Bottle Pop, business has sort of taken off. I'm booking things left and right and it's awesome. Slightly scary but exciting nonetheless. I wish I had something to show you but everything is just kind of "in the works" right now, so we have to be patient. Not my specialty.
I am planning my own little party this weekend and it's a Favorite Things party. It was supposed to be my whole group of friends participating but people are lame and we can't seem to pick a date where everyone can make it. So now it's just a few of us but we're doing it anyway. We are all bringing a few of something we love so we can exchange them with each other then pretend we're Oprah as we hand them out. There will also be apps and desserts. I can't wait. Oh and since I'm obsessed with emerald these days, this is my party color scheme...
and this is the mood board I put together because, well, I'm obsessed.
Please don't alert the internet police but all of the sources for these lovelies is on a secret Pinterest board and well, I'm lazy.
This past weekend, I also hosted one of my most favorite people on earth, my friend KP. It's here where I would normally link my blogger friends but bish hasn't blogged in like 6 months so I won't worry about it. She brought her crew to see my crew and we did things like eat at child-friendly restaurants, talk business taxes, hit up a special event at terrain where I could schmooze, bring home cheesesteaks and beer for our menfolk and then let our children eat Oreos for breakfast. We even squeezed in some FaceTime with our pal Bethany in Kuwait. It was glorious and I miss these b's all year long. I'll link Beth up because she's a responsible blogger.
We even managed to finally see the end of Always Crafty 2012, when I led a tutorial on moss monogram letters. KP was supposed to be here for #AC but had to cancel last minute, so luckily I had her supplies on hand. And now, and only NOW, can I start planning Always Crafty 2013, which if all goes well, will be bigger and better and more sparkly than ever before. Cross your fingers!

i'm so happy for you that your business is booming!! you've done a great job so far, and it's only gonna get better and better! and i imagine it's pretty awesome to tell john you have to throw a party for the experience/pictures/etc - it's a perfect excuse :)
and i don't care too much for green usually, but i too am loving emerald.
Pretty sure navy blue and green is my new obsession: the GAP had a white and navy polka dot dress with a green cardi that is calling my name.
I am so proud of you and your business! I still carry that first super pink business card around in my purse ;)
Let me know when you get fancy enough to hire an assistant, and I'll send in my resume. ;)
Bring on Always Crafty 2013!

While I miss you blogging, I'm so happy to hear Bottle Pop is taking off! Go you!
Bad Blogger? BLASPHEMY.
Had a super visit with you too! And you know I'm too good for gummy penguins. But thank you for your hospitality, and being all kid friendly! Hope Gabe's cold is clearing up, that poor boy!
Also, I'm back!
Looks like such fun. You girls are adorable. And I'm so happy your business is taking off. You totally deserve it. Such talent.
In other news, I think your craft weekend should take place in August when Kim will be coming to the easy coast. Then I shall take a train to your house an craft and never leave.
Done and done.
