This Year's Wrap

Normally every year, I hit up Target the day after Christmas to scoop up all the wrapping paper for the next Christmas. I kinda let what they have determine what my wrapping theme is gonna be. I'm always drawn to the black and white patterns so I usually have a stash of that. This year though, instead of adding the red that I normally do, I'm adding the yellow paper I bought at Paper Source. I picked up a roll of plain black kraft wrapping paper at Michaels, a roll of brown mailing kraft paper at the Dollar Tree and added my stash of felt. A little glitter paper for accents and a roll of yarn later, we've got this year's scheme...

You have a wrapping scheme, right? I'm not insane?

You are nuts! I wrap all my presents in old newpapers- I try for the funny pages, but I've been known to wrap in ads from the grocery store. I'm just too cheap to buy wrapping paper, even on clearance. Tie it with some rafia left over from my wedding three years ago, stick a free printable gift tag (or write with a sharpie) and it's done!

Even used a cleaned out baby wipes box for a box for a gift for my husband...

Good God reading that I realize how freaking cheap I am...

These are gorgeous though, feeling some wrapping guilt

You are nuts but I love you for it! Nell's present was the prettiest thing I've ever torn open...and you inspire me to THINK about doing more with my wrapping...but then I get lazy and put it in a bag. Move to Colorado. I'll booze you up in exchange for you doing my gift wrapping.
