On the cutest little horse jockey you ever did see!
Since Gabe has a small fascination with the horses that live around the corner from us, I decided that he'd like to be a jockey. Ha. Seriously, when he understands what Halloween is, he can dictate the costumes. Until then, it's all mama!Of course, he kicked and screamed getting into said costume yesterday but I'm going to blame that on him being a bit under the weather. I think he felt yucky enough to be in a pissy mood but okay enough to run around and shove Oreos down his throat. It's apparently a fine line. And although he refused to smile the entire night, I'm pretty sure he had a great time. We had pizza and snacks around a campfire with the neighbors then headed out trick or treating with some of the neighbor girls. We hit up about 10 houses and pulled in a hefty bounty.
So I'm beyond pumped that Sandy got the hell out of here. She showed up Monday morning with heavy rains and wind and knocked down one of our trees. The whole shebang. Right down. It went down at an angle, thank God, because if it fell straight, it would be on top of our family room...where we were playing. Slightly terrifying. But we made out pretty darn good compared to a lot of people and those people are in our thoughts and prayers.
Hope you had a fantastic Halloween, creepers!

Love these two year olds trick or treating. Colin was nagging me for candy all damn day long and yet when we got to the actual event? He was fascinated with the flashlight we brought and could have cared less about getting any candy. It was all about running around with the flashlight. Love Gabe just sitting on the stairs, all, "I find begging beneath me. Where's my groom?"
I just don't think a cuter little guy exists? I Love the picture of him "riding" the horse. And of him holding hands with his friends. What a sweetheart. Looks like you have a great neighborhood.
I love the picture where he is looking at the horse. Pre-race heart-to-heart?
Ugh, Charlie was crabby too, until the candy started flowing.
Super cute costume- nice work Shannon!
Just when I think Gabbers can't get any cuter, you dress him up like a jockey. I'll place my bet on him and his pony ;)

Oh my, he is to cute!
I love this! And I think its fitting that he's a little grumpy - I feel like all jockeys seem a little crotchety anyway. You are so creative.
How precious is he? A jockey. What a cute idea! I love the pic of him with the horse facing backwards :)
OH EMM GEE! Cutest Jockey ever!
