Once a month, I like to have homemade pizza night, usually on a Friday. I know, we're living it up over here. Gettin craaaaazy. Anyway, homemade pizza night, hereafter referred to as HPN, is usually comprised of whatever we've got hanging out in the fridge (except for the cans of Miller Lite). It's an excellent way to use up leftovers and I'm of the school that thinks that if you've got enough cheese to smother it with, almost anything will taste good baked on a nice slab of pizza dough. Am i right or am I right? Or am I right?
So on this particular evening, we had some leftover um, bacon? I'm not sure how that happened. We are a bacon-loving household. But somehow I found some wrapped up, hidden beneath a bag of tortillas that *needed* to be cooked that night, ya know what I'm saying? Like, on it's last leg bacon. Is that gross? Not when you sizzle that shit up and make BLT pizza with it!

I love HPN!!! I don't make it a regular thing but I should. I love pizza enough that I could eat it almost every day. Homemade pizza dough is easy (and cheap!) so I really have no excuse. Except that I'm lazy. Anyway...one time we made 4 lbs of dough and had HPW (homemade pizza week). It included BBQ chicken pizza, Mexican style pizza, and two nights of garbage pizza. I'm drooling looking at the BLT pizza. Yum!

i made bacon jam for an event that no one showed up for, which launched BACONJAMWEEK in my home. by the end, my boyfriend was tired of eating anything with bacon jam. but trust me, a layer of it under the pizza sauce on a BLT pizza is pure heaven.
We have family movie night every Friday and almost always do homemade pizza (and I have a great dough recipe if you want it). I love the BLT pizza ampnd am going to try it this week. I'm thinking spinach for my L?
Yum! We do homemade pizza night about once a week. I keep a stash of doughs in the freezers and pull one out the night before.
