Good morning friends. How was everyone's weekend? Half of mine was spent as it normally is...putzing around the house, running errands, cuddling with the boys. The other half was quite different. I spent Sunday day drinkin at the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade. I blame that for my short post today. Today we've got another installment in my own personal encyclopedia.
We're up to F. Now if you know me in any way whatsoever, you know the letter F is one of my faves. I go around saying it quite often....Eff this, eff that. I've got the mouth of a trucker but as my saint of a mother keeps reminding me, I guess I'll have to clean it up sooner rather than later. I'll be channeling Ralphie from A Christmas Story...ohhhhh fudge.

Foghorn Leghorn - One of my all-time favorite cartoon characters from Looney Toons. I say, I say boy! John and I recently discovered a mutual like of Foghorn. After all these years, we're still learning about each other. Vomit.
Freckles - Growing up in a fair-skinned Irish family, you automatically get freckles, some more than others. I love them. I think they're not only cute but I think they add a ton of character.
Fowler, Lila - The snotty, poor little rich girl from the Sweet Valley High series was always my girl. She was just too good for everyone, always wore designer clothes and had a car phone. Queen b for sure. Confession: I think her name is the prettiest thing ever.
Food Network - When nothing else is on, Food Network is there for you. You can watch too-cool-for-school Guy Fieri frost his tips, I mean visit diners. You can be reminded of how real Italians pronounce word by Giada. Or you can witness a baby goat, I mean Sandra something make tablescapes. What's not entertaining about any of that?
Wanna play along?

haha i love these!! yay for freckles! :)
hope you're feeling yourself again soon (and that you had tons of fun!!)
Guy Fieri just wouldn't be Guy Fieri without his frosted tips and forearm sweatband.
Thanks for bringing me back to 6th grade when all I would read during the summer were the tales of jessica + elizabeth :)
I also feel a deep love affair to Food Network. If Chad and I are home and it's after 9pm, the Food Network is on. :)
I like learning more about you Shannon. You seem like good people.
haha Who is the baby goat? Is that Sandra Lee? I can't watch her show because I can't promote a show where something is called "Semi Home Made" and the only thing that seems to be "home made" about it is that you physically put it together in your home kitchen. Hey, I use box cake mix and de-boned chicken like the best of 'em, but I also am not getting paid millions and have my own show about it either. Meh.
Ugh- I stink at the game. I've grown to appreciate freckles. "Like" is a strong word.
Ha! I'm with ya on the Food Network thing. When there isn't anything else on - I go for that channel. Every time. lol.
My F for the day would be Franco. As in, If Franco doesn't stop barking, I'm giving him away.
Oh, did I just say that out loud?
I always wanted freckles. No such luck.
Ah! Sweet Valley High! Lila Fowler! I would now like to read every book of that series all over again.
Ha ha ha ha! LOVE the sweet valley high reference!!
On a separate note, I keep falling behind in doing this encyclopedia thing, but I've liked making my posts. My plan is to finally write volume "D" soon- what a slacker, huh?
Holy Sh*t Shannon, Lila Fowler!!!! You just made my night with that one. I was considering the name Lila for one of my girls, but hubs wasn't as thrilled with the name. But doesn't Lila Landeros Have a nice ring to it? I think so.
Also, shout out to a fellow freckle face! (Although I have a hard time appreciating mine.)
