M-ommmmmm! I'm Borrrredd!!

Confession: Even modified bedrest is starting to get boring. There's only so much TV I can watch, internets I can read and counters to wipe down. I've gone and met John for lunch a few times and of course, the dr appts break up the week but man, I need somethin to do! Here's how I've been spending my week.

Cue Brookie's blog. Her custom coloring books put me in the mood to color. So off to Target I went to pick up this ahhhsum lil Hello Kitty coloring book and a box of 64 Crayola crayons. My mama says I'm a real good colorer.

Ok, I lied when I said there's only so much internetting you can do. Although sometimes it feels like you've gotten to the end of it, there's always more to look at. Like this.

My Milk Toof are the stories of ickle and Lardee. It is positively genius. And may make your day.

Then when you're going through the checkout at Target and are susceptible to impulse purchases, this treat may end up on the conveyor belt. And it may be the most delicious thing you've ever tasted. Sure, it may be Germany's best biscuit covered in chocolate, but it says Sport! This is clearly a health-snack.
Finally, I gave in and bought this book. Apparently it's all the rage these days. I'm praying one of you has read it and can convince me to continue reading past the first 15 pages and not return it to Target. There's an awful lotta talk about flowers in the first chapter and I'm not sure how much more I can take.

So there you go. You might as well have spent the week with me since you know everything I've been doing.  It's impossibly exciting. What else should I be doing?
I know, I know, have this baby already. I know that's why you're here. I'll be sure to pass your message along to my uterus.

Ah, coloring! I might have to pick up some supplies myself this weekend! :) I haven't read that book - I've heard it's good, but I've also heard several people say the second one (The Girl who plays with fire) is better - maybe that's motivation to keep reading? (Or maybe it's just motivation to skip to the second one! Ha!)

I have to say, I love how you brought out the shingles with different colors. Very nice!

That is some fabulous coloring. :)

And, I feel you on the boredom. I have my first month off since I was, oh, about 18, and I don't know what to do with myself. When Mr. Kinne comes home, I talk his ear off.

I love coloring with the boys - sometimes I will convince them that they want to color just so I can. :)

Your coloring shows real promise! Keep up the good work. And anything that says "sport" on it is health food for sure. I din't read that book but I bough the other two on audit and they were difficult at times, but worth it in the long run.

I read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and have to agree that it was hard to get into at the start. Pretty slow - but it's worth it if you just keep going! :)
I'm already on the second one. I started it about a week ago and I'm almost done. I would have to say the second one IS better, but the first one was pretty great too! Hope you end up enjoying it!

I feel your pain. Just a few days less. I have been entertaining myself with Netflix and Hulu. I only seem to venture out from the house in the evenings when the hubs is with me. This is to prevent me from shopping, because I can never seem to leave Target without something useless in my hands.

Just keep hanging in there. BTW...you color so purdy.

I hear that book is great too. I am on my 100th Sookie book, so maybe once I'm done this one and the new release, I will move on to the next cult craze. hahaha First Twi, then Sook, now this? I think Andy is starting to get scared.

I'm a big fan of coloring. I may or may not have stolen my neice's coloring book last Easter.

Don't judge me.

Stick with the book! I almost put it down too because I was so bored with the first few pages but it gets really good - I'm on the third one now (yes there are three!) and they're great! There are movies too but they're nothing compared to the books.

Keep...reading...the...book. I just finished the trilogy. Loved. Couldn't stop once I got into it. I will go ahead and admit there were parts of the novel that I mainly skimmed through, but I simply could not wait to find out what would happen next with Lisbeth Salander.

Hooray for coloring!

Couple things.
1. Your coloring kinda made me mad. Jealous.
2. Keep reading. Those flowers will all die, but in a suspenseful and sexy sort of way.

Read the book!!!!!! I started listening to the audio of it and couldn't get past the first half hour or so, so I stopped. Then I watched the movie-very good btw and have since listened to books 2 and 3 of the series and plan to go back to the first book. It's really good.

I just started the girl with the dragon tattoo and am bored with it too, but I'm gonna try to push past the beginning. My sister told me it starts to get good around p. 60, so... here's to hoping!!

I agree with the others. It's a great book but I hated the beginning. Totally unexpected ending though!
