for months and months after I got married people kept asking how married life was and i always thought the same thing. married life was the same as engaged life, living together (in sin!) life and dating life except now i had a new last name. there were no huge differences. Life didn’t change as soon as we got a new toaster oven or new debit cards with both of our names on them. And while circumstances have definitely changed since 2006, J & I haven’t. I’m still giddy when he gets home from work every night. He’s still the person I would always choose to hang out with. He makes me crack up laughing each and every day. I definitely lucked out in the husband department.
I woke up this morning to a card next to the bed and when I opened it the first thing I noticed were the little sparkly things on the front. When I woke him up he asked if I got my card and told me that he chose that card because the sparklies reminded him of my scrapbook supplies and he thought I’d like it. that made me awww.
